Ecological buildings: Building Biology applied Talk and tour – Sunday, 19th June 2011

Learn how the discipline of “Building Biology” approaches the creation of more ecological homes and commercial buildings. Michael Meyer, building biologist, will explain how a more holistic approach needs to take place to have the best ecological and sustainable outcome.

The tour gives two examples how Building Biology principles have influenced a commercial building (the Baha’i Centre) and how it has been applied thoroughly, in all aspects of a domestic building (Michael Meyer’s home in West Hobart).

Venue: Sustainable Living Tasmania, Murray Street (followed by the two tours). Time: 11am – 3.30pm Cost: $20 Booking Essential: or call Zoe 6267 4437.

This is a Channel Living and Sustainable Living Tasmania members only event – but you can join on the day 🙂
