What’s on at the Co-op…..

Steaming porridge on these frosty mornings…….

Our family love porridge for breakfast with all the toppings! By this I mean dried apricots, leatherwood honey, cinnamon, stewed fruit, maple syrup and chia seeds. We soak the oats overnight with the chia seeds, then put all the toppings in the middle of our dining room table to add to our bowls whilst we lazily get out of our cosy beds……warming and a healthy start to the day, the pot is then soaked and the chickens get the scraping of the pot.
The Co-op are stocking South Australian organic apricots, local leatherwood honey, organic chia seeds and South Australian steamed oats.
