Love Living Locally

A community day to celebrate Harmony Day and living locally in Kingborough is to be held outside the Kingborough Civic Centre on Sunday, 27th March, 2011.  

Channel Living will have a stall at this event to lift our profile as well as raise funds to support our on-going activities.  We would like to bring our stall to life, so if you can help with:

  • Seedlings, plants, fruit or veges
  • Members lending a hand

Channel Living is having a garage sale as part of the Kingborough Council's Garage Sale Trail.

When: Sunday, 10th April, 2011

Where:  HQ (previously known as the old Woodbridge Servo)

Donations gratefully received and can be dropped off at HQ on Friday, 8th April (all day), Saturday, 9th April (between 9.30 – 11.00am) or on the day.

Apple Pressing Morning

Join Bob Magnus, sons and grandsons for their weekly apple pressing session. This will be a casual chat and demonstration of pressing apples for juice and cider.

Cost: gold coin donation (fundraiser for Channel Living).

Note: Channel Living members only, but you are welcome to join on the day

Launch of new Co-op imminent

Finally, the moment we’ve all been waiting for! Council has issued us with our permit for Change of Use of the service station shopfront, so we will be moving into the new shop next week. Keeping Cattle on Smallholdings
